Professor Medhat Saad Aziz is the vice president of the National Water Research Center of Egypt. Formerly he was the director of the Nile Research Institute from 2009 until early 2018. And, he was the director of Survey Research Institute from 2008 until 2009. He is a full Professor in National Water Research Center since June 2004. He got Associate Professor in NWRC in June 1999. He got his Ph.D. degree in March 1994 in Dam Breaching Model from Utah State University, USA. He got his M.Sc. in Dynamic Stability of Earth Dams from Utah State University, USA. He got B.Sc. with grade Very Good and honor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Assiut University in 1984, Egypt. He had Phi Kappa Phi Honor membership which is given for the top USA students. He published about 50 research papers in vast water hydraulic topics.
